1. Our Role & Binding Agreement
The purchase of your travel booking comprises a legally binding arrangement between you (the "Traveler") and Crestline Travels Inc. ("We", "Us") in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Crestline Travels Inc. acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel-related products on behalf of numerous third-party service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators). We do not own, operate, or control these independent suppliers and are not liable for their acts or omissions. Our commitment is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange contracts between you and the service providers. Your legal recourse for any issues with the service itself is against the specific provider, not Crestline Travels Inc.
It is your responsibility to check the USA Government Travel warnings for your intended destination at travel.state.gov.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please be aware that provider policies can be restrictive. Most travel bookings are non-refundable, and cancellations will incur charges up to 100% of the paid amount. Below is a general guide, but the specific airline's rules will always take precedence.
The U.S. 24-Hour Rule
In accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations, we provide a full refund for flights canceled within 24 hours of booking, as long as the booking is made at least seven (7) days before the flight's scheduled departure.
Refundable vs. Non-Refundable Tickets
- Refundable Tickets: These tickets allow for cancellation and a refund. However, they are often more expensive, and the airline may still charge a processing fee. The refund will be returned to your original form of payment after being processed by the airline, which can take several business days or weeks.
- Non-Refundable Tickets: The vast majority of tickets are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will typically not receive a cash refund. Instead, many airlines will issue a travel credit for the value of your ticket (less any cancellation fees), which you can use for a future flight with that same airline.
Special Circumstances
- Flight Cancellation by the Airline: If the airline cancels your flight for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method, even if you purchased a non-refundable ticket.
- Significant Delays: In the event of a significant flight delay, your options for compensation or a refund depend on the airline's specific policy and the circumstances of the delay.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. A comprehensive policy can protect your investment by covering cancellations or interruptions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, weather), depending on the policy terms.
3. Cancellation Fees & Luggage
Our Fees: Where we incur any liability for a cancellation charge or fee for any booking that you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the full amount of that charge or fee.
Luggage & Baggage Policy: Additional charges for checked luggage, carry-on bags, and seat selection may apply and vary significantly by airline. Please contact the airline directly or refer to its website for the most current baggage policies. You may also call our travel experts for guidance at +1 (877) 555-0299.
